BEES SCULPTURE
A juxtaposition of man made materials to represent one of the most important and imperiled species. Metallic bees gather on and hover over a metal hive made from a repurposed air conditioner condenser. The sculpture calls attention to the plight of bees and suggests man’s role though the use of industrial materials. Are we destine to rely on mechanical drone bees for our own survival?
