IPIPES - One for sale
Based on the Apple IPhone 4 form, these functioning pipes are carved from Pipestone, a claystone quarried by Native Americans in Pipestone, Minnesota. The IPipes contrast the historic and ceremonial importance of pipestone pipes created by the first inhabitants of North America with the importance (and almost religious devotion) of cell phones in current culture.
